Vasco Bendini, Matteo Montani. So far, so close.

From 30 November to 20 January 2013, SET, Temporary Exhibition Space at Palazzo de Mayo in Chieti, will host the exhibition "Vasco Bendini / Matteo Montani. Così lontani, Così vicini".
A dialogue between two generations under the sign of contemporary art closes the active 2012 of Carichieti Foundation. The exhibition highlights the dialogue between two artists far by birth but  closer by  a common artistic and cosmogonic vision.
The exhibition, conceived and curated by Gabriele Simongini, presents  more than thirty works of the two artists, separated by five decades: in 2012 Vasco Bendini (born 1922), recognized by critics as one of the fathers of the Italian Informal, celebrated ninety years, while Matteo Montani (born 1972), an outstanding artist among the emerging Italian artists, is forty years old.
"Vasco Bendini / Matteo Montani. Così lontani, Così vicini" presents two oils on aluminum (created in 1980) of Bendini and a selection of works of the new millennium, while about Montani you will see the works of the last seven years, including the "Soglia" of six meters and the last "red room".
