Postcard from Italy - The artists village
An artist village built on the ruins of an abandoned medieval village, stands on a gentle hill behind Sanremo giving an evocative and unreal self. In 1887 a violent earthquake struck the hinterland Sanremo severely damaged Bussana Vecchia. The town was abandoned. The village has since it was no longer inhabited, until the settlement of the community of artists, which began in the sixties, the country has been brought back to life by artists from around the world.
